Oct 28 2007 - Atlantic Cross Country Championships
Saint John athletes excel at Atlantic Cross Country Championships. Mactaquac, N.B. 38 runners from the Greater Saint John area attended the annual Atlantic Cross Country championships in Mactaquac Provincial Park on October 27th 2007. With participants ranging from ages 6 to 60+ this was an event for everyone. Close to 150 athletes braved cool and rainy weather on the challenging course through the trails of the park. Four runners from Greater Saint John won their events: Ryan Brown of GrandBay/Westfield was first in the Pee Wee Boys 1500M. Nick MacMackin of Quispamsis was the winner of the Bantam boys 2500M. Katie Robinson won the Bantam Girls 2500m Cythia Robinson was winner of the Women’s 35+ 4500m event. (Katie and her Mom must be training together) The Harry Miller Middle School Team of Nick MacMackin, Louis Richard, Josh Northrup and Tyler Isnor won the team competition in the Bantam Boys race. The Barnhill Middle School team of Kate Robinson, Casey Currie, Jamie White, Catherine Oickle, Zackly Reid placed second in the Bantam Girls event. Oct 27 2007 - Jessica Belliveau Leads Maine with Sixth Place Finish
STONY BROOK. N.Y.-- The University of Maine women's cross country teams finished fourth at the America East Championships in Stony Brook, N.Y. on Saturday afternoon. SJTC's own Jessica Belliveau (Quispamsis, New Brunswick) paced the women's squad with a sixth place finish. Way to go Jess.
Oct 20 2007 - NB Middle Schools Cross Country Championships
NB Middle Schools Cross Country Championships The second annual NB Middle School XC Championships were held at River Valley Middle School on Saturday, October 20, 2007. Over 185 youth representing 23 schools from across New Brunswick braved the wet and muddy course to compete in races for girls and boys in grades 6, 7 and 8. Over All Provincial Championships were awarded to schools for their top 6 placing across all three grade divisions in boys and girls. River Valley Middle School were awarded the Boys Overall Championship and Harry Miller Middle School winning the Girls Overall Championship. Congratulations to club members Katie Robinson, Casey Currie, Nick MacMackin, Craig McCullum and Louis Richard for excellent top 3 performances. . Elementary School Cross Country Meet
Organized by the Saint John Track Club

Almost 400 Elementary School athletes from Districts 1, 6 & 8 came together to compete at the 3rd Annual Invitational Cross Country Meet. It was held at the J.D. Irving Ltd Park on the former Centracare site in West Saint John and organized by the Saint John Track Club. This was the final meet of the local cross country season for area elementary schools. This year boasted the largest turnout ever with exciting individual races and team competitions. The largest race was in the junior boy’s event (grades 3 & 4) with 164 runners competing. Individual results from the events were as follows.

Jessica Belliveau finishes second out of 299 runners in women's race as U of Maine Cross Country Teams Compete at New Englands This Past Weekend: Oct. 7, 2007
ORONO, Maine - The University of Maine men's and women's cross country teams competed at the New England Championships on Saturday in Boston, Mass. The women's team finished 11th out of 44 teams, while the men placed 19th out of 43.
Sophomore runner Jessica Belliveau was the highest finisher on the women's side as she placed second out of 299 runners with a time of 17:53. It marked the second-straight week and the third time in four races this season she has been the top finisher for Maine.
