Jun 23 2014 - SJTC Retains Provincial Title

For the second year in a row the Saint John Track Club won the provincial team title at the NB Championships held in Saint John on June 21st.  Accumulating 47 gold medals, 18 silver medals, and 10 bronze medals SJTC proved that it is the premiere track club in New Brunswick.

SJTC had athletes receive medals in all event areas and all age groups.  It was referred to as a total team effort by HP Coach Jason Reindl.  “SJTC athletes have been working very hard and it is great to see them receiving recognition for their efforts.  Anytime that you can say that your a provincial champion is a great thing,” said HP coach Jason Reindl.

“This banner shows that from our RJT to Masters programs and everything in between that track and field can offer something for anyone.  We are very proud of the opportunities and programs that we offer as a club.   Our athletes are always happy and have a smile on their faces but when they can put a medal around their neck and know they are part of a team banner it is even sweeter,” added Reindl.
