Jul 17 2012 - 2012 Legion Team Announced
The Royal Canadian Legion, New Brunswick Command and Athletics New Brunswick are pleased to announce their team for the 2012 Legion Canadian Youth Track & Field Championships being held at the University of Prince Edward Island in Charlottetown, PEI between August 15 -21.
The 2012 Legion Canadian Youth Track & Field Championships is expected to attract over 700 athletes from across the country, as well as over 100 volunteer officials and clinicians.
Saint John Track Club is proud to announce that 12 SJTC athletes have been selected to the team.

Jul 14 2012 - Two SJTC Athletes Selected to go to Hershey
Jul 13 2012 - 12 Athletes named to North American Hershey Track and Field Championships
12 Athletes will represent the Maritimes at the 2012 North American Hershey Track and Field Championships, in Hershey, Pennsylvania from August2nd-5th .
The team will be composed of Saint John Track Club's Sara Kean of Rothesay who will run in the 13-14 girls 800m. Sara is the reigning North American Hershey Champion at this event.
Jasmyne McLaughlin of Fredericton will compete in the 9-10 Softball throw. Chesley Hall of Fredericton will take part in the 13-14 yrs old girls 1600 metres. While Andrew LeBlanc also of Fredericton will compete in the boys 13-14 yrs old 800m.
Both the girls and boys 13-14 relay team also qualified for the North American Final. The boys team consist of Clint Steeves of Riverglade , Saint John Track Club's Ryan Ellis of Nerepis , Nicolas MacLean of Moncton and Nicholas Arseneault of Tracadie . While the girls team will the team of Nikki Jamieson of Fredericton , Bailey Lockard of Fredericton , Onye Njokuand of Fredericton and Samantha Taylor of Canterbury will compete for top honors.
What are the HERSHEY’S Track & Field Games all about? Simply put, helping get kids on the right track, teaching lifelong lessons, and having fun every step, leap, jump and throw along the way.
The HERSHEY’S Track & Field Games are the largest youth sports program of its kind in North America, with hundreds of thousands of children competing every year. The HERSHEY’S Track & Field Games has produced many Olympic medalists and competing athletes. This program including the travel to the travel to North American Championships are fully funded by the Hershey Chocolate Company.
Jul 1 2012 - Canada Day Road Race - Grand Bay
Congrats to SJTC athletes who competed at the Canada Day Race in Grand Bay thie weekend.
In the 5K SJTC's, Josh Shanks set a new course record for both age and overall race records wiping out today's 10 Mile winner and SJTC member Matt McNeil old record for under 20 and half marathon course record holder Chris Brake for overall in one race!! Matt, as winner of the 10 miler ran an outstanding time of 57.36.
